Cliffs of Moher

Your CIE Tours guide will welcome you to Ireland at Shannon Airport. Plan to arrive by 8:30 AM. You’ll be driven to nearby Bunratty Castle Hotel, where you can enjoy tea and scones before your tour begins at 10:00 AM. Drive along the coast of County Clare to take in the spectacular beauty of the Cliffs of Moher – soaring 700 feet above the Atlantic surf. Embark on a ferry ride across the River Shannon Estuary and continue to the charming town of Killarney. Enjoy some time to relax or explore Killarney on your own. Join your group for a welcome drink before dinner.

Dingle Peninsula Drive

Set off to discover the beauties of the Dingle Peninsula, once described by the National Geographic Traveler as “the most beautiful place on earth.” There will be frequent stops at strategic locations to admire the views and take photos. Spend some free time exploring Dingle town. On the return to Killarney, stop in Inch for an early dinner at Foley’s Bar and Restaurant. Then return to Killarney, where you might like to find a “singing bar” for some entertainment.

Ring Of Kerry

Enjoy an Irish coffee at Moriaty’s, before heading to lunch in Kenmare. Explore a section of the fabulous Ring of Kerry, which in its entirety is more than 100 miles of marvelous scenery. There are plenty of stops to take photos and view the scenery. Back in Killarney you’ll become a Distiller’s Apprentice in a unique Irish whiskey experience. After learning about classic whiskey enjoy a sample of the finished product. The evening is free for individual pursuits and dining.

Blarney Castle and Bunratty

Visit the famous Blarney Castle to kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence” or walk around the lovely park grounds. Treat yourself to quality Irish made goods at Blarney Woollen Mills. Journey through the rugged countryside to the quaint village of Bunratty where you’ll have the remainder of the afternoon at your leisure. In the evening enjoy dinner at Durty Nelly’s, one of Ireland’s landmark pubs.
