Shannon Arrival & Cliffs of Moher
Tour begins 2:00 PM, Ennis hotel. Ennis is 16 miles (25 km) from Shannon Airport, be sure to arrange transportation from your airport. Take in the spectacular beauty of the Cliffs of Moher – soaring 700 feet (200m) above the Atlantic surf. On a clear day, you can see across to the Aran Island. This evening, join your group for a welcome drink before enjoying dinner.

Galway & Connemara
Journey through the lovely Connemara region to admire the sweeping views of boglands and misty mountains. In Galway, join a local guide for a walking tour to see the medieval city walls, Lynch’s Castle and the narrow streets of the city center. Continue to Westport, an attractive estate town built in 1780, with lots of interesting shops and traditional pubs, many with live music.

Westport House & Achill Island
Take a tour around the stately Westport House, which overlooks the ocean and contains a wealth of interesting portraits, furniture, silver and porcelain. Access Achill Island by bridge and follow the Atlantic Drive to capture wonderful views of steeply-sloped mountains plunging into the shimmering Atlantic Ocean. See the Deserted Village, 100 stone cottages abandoned around the time of the 1840’s Famine. Stop in Keel for a casual lunch before returning to Westport for a gentle walking tour around town. The evening is free for independent activities and dining.

Country Life & Donegal Castle
Immerse yourself in the history of Irish life with a visit to the Museum of Country Life which features exhibits of domestic goods used during the 19th and early 20th centuries. Relax and enjoy a drive through Counties Mayo and Sligo and around Donegal Bay to Donegal town. Tour Donegal Castle, built by the O’Donnell chieftain in the 15th century and expanded in the 17th century, then continue to Stranorlar.

Glenveagh Castle & Grand Atlantic
Travel into the heart of Donegal to Glenveagh National Park where Captain Adair evicted 225 tenants to build Glenveagh Castle in 1870. Drive through prime agricultural country and pause for photos of the stately Rock of Cashel, a limestone outcrop containing 12th century church ruins. At Blarney Castle kiss the famous “Stone of Eloquence” or walk the lovely grounds. Treat yourself to quality Irish-goods at Blarney Woollen Mills or take a look around the village green. Travel along the picturesque County Cork coast to Rosscarbery.
